Offered for your bidding consideration is a fine Antique Stock Certificate for the Syracuse Gold and Silver Mining Co. of Colorado. The issue number is 167, for 10 shares. As seen in photo. #3, there is a 25 cent Federal Tax Stamp affixed to the certificate that is dated 1866. Photo. #6, shows an embossed stamp from the Colorado Mining Co. dated 1865, the date of the companies inception. The certificate is also dated in the lower right corner...1866. As for condition, the certificate measures 10 5/8"W. X 8 5/8"H. The photos will show crease folds with a small tear along the crease line. Also noted is a very small pin hole. Photo. # 9 shows a small spot on the reverse side of the sheet. This flaw is not seen on the obverse. PLease e-mail any questions you may have.
