Up for sale are 3 HO pairs of TAHOE MODEL WORKS #206 Buckeye ARA 50-ton trucks with plain journal bearing trucks and code 88 semi-scale nickel plated brass wheels. TMW trucks have won the deserved reputation of the industries BEST rolling truck, best appearing, and finest tracking truck in the market. High bidder will receive 3 pairs, enough for three freight cars.This is 6th release from the growing line of Tahoe Model Works famed high quality trucks. This is their "Spring Plank" truck. This truck is a popular truck used by many RR's from the late 1920s up through till after WWll, and many survived longer under MoW cars, and on many of the nation's logging railroads. This style of truck was the most common freight car truck style in the pre-WWll era, and was therefore found widespread on many RRs.This truck was manufactured by the Buckeye Steel Castings Company from the late 19202 until the late 1940s. Conventional trucks, such as this one, complied with the American Railway Association standards, and prototype features included a spring plank spanning across both side framesand, in each side frame, four coil springs grouped close together.Non-magnetic, insulated metal RP-25 contour wheelsets.
