Tascam 3440 reel to reel deck This is an excellent condition 4 channel 4 track semi pro reel to reel deck that works like new. Fully tested and reconditioned with a new drive belt, and a full alignment with Ampex 456 tape. 3 head, 4 channels, 7 1/2 and 15 IPS, external loops for processors or noise reduction units. THe unit is fully solenoid controlled, has pitch control, and is a very clean machine overall.Tape counter, Up to 10 1/2" reels, punch in and out functions, headphone monitoring. etc etc. The tape path has been cleaned, all channels have been tested, the frequency response on both channels goes past 20K Khz as per my Nakamichi tape deck analyzer. Heads are in excellent condition, all function and meter lights work, all controls and switches are clean and noise free. Included with this deck are a metal takeup reel, the NAB adapters that are in great shape and the power cord. The front panel is in great shape, save for a small chip in the front right corner. I am an electronics tech that has worked on literally 100s of reel to reel decks since the 1980s. I go through the units completely, check my feedback. Email with any questions.
