This is a rare watcombe terracotta bust of a boy but unfortunately his head has been off. The break on the front neatly follows the base of the neck but on the back and side the break shows in the turquoise of the jacket. I have tried to show this on the second picture but it isn't very clear. The plinth and bust are pinned together with wood. There is no other damage and the item displays well.height 6.25"Impressed WATCOMBE TORQUAYnb. the photograph shows the bust as quite dark brown but it is actually the usual bright terracotta colour
