Offered for sale is the original artwork for the November 1, 1995 daily comic strip TERRY AND THE PIRATES by Michael Uslan (writer), Greg and Tim Hildebrandt (pencils) and David Boller (inks).Description : -Art Type: Original daily comic strip artwork. -Medium: Pen and ink over graphite/pencil on art board. -Publisher: Tribune Media Services -Publication Date: 11-1-1995 -Dimensions: 15" wide by 5.5" tall (board dimensions; image slightly smaller) -Signed: Yes. The art is signed in pencil in the lower margin "Greg Hildebrandt" and "Tim Hildebrandt". The signature box (which reads "Uslan Hildebrandt Inks-Boller") in the lower left corner is a stat (not original signatures). -Description: This is the original artwork for the 11-1-1995 daily comic strip Terry and The Pirates by Greg and Tim Hildebrandt (aka "The Brothers Hildebrandt"). This was the second incarnation of the strip (the first having been drawn by Milton Caniff and George Wunder). Written by Michael Uslan (producer of some of the Batman movies) and drawn by the Hildebrandt Brothers, this strip featured updated versions of Terry, Pat Ryan and The Dragon Lady. Pat and Terry were members of "The Alliance", a group dedicated to foiling the schemes of The Dragon Lady, who was now an international businesswoman (but still a criminal and still crazy gorgeous).
