FRAME CONDITION: A little dinged up but basically fine. FEATURING: The closer I look at this, the more I realize what a good painter this man was. It is a beautiful impressionist painting with a lot of fine colorful brushwork. In researching the artist I found he is an important Texas painter who is considered the Grandfather of the Rockport Art Community , (see bio below). I guess his works on the market must be somewhat rare as I could not find many sold. It is nicely matted and framed, (Please see images). It is under glass or plastic which may be treated for light so I suspect the painting may be even a little brighter than it looks.
