You are bidding on a unit book for the 1st Cavalry division of the United States Army. This book was printed in Occupied Japan after the Cavalry moved into Japan. This book chronicles the movement from Camp Stoneman and Fort Bliss to Brisbane, The admiralties, Leyte, Luzon and on to Tokyo. Included in the front cover is a pamphlet from a 1st Cav. Div. Memorial service that took place March 25, 1950 at Ft. Bliss, Tx. The front cover of this book is signed by General Chase. T are 245 pages. T is some moisture damage to the yellow cloth cover. T are some bubbles in the cover. This book is packed full of pictures of evryone in the Cav. T are pictures of some commanding Generals including Gen. MacArthur. This book is well done and is sure to please the high bidder. I'm sure this is a semi-rare WW2 book since it is unit specific. Please e-mail me with any questions.
