This auction is for a unique vintage historical thermometer. Thermometer is 8 1/2 in. long and is made of stainless steel .Key is marked ,"Pat. Aug.25,1925". The top of key has a circle with the U.S. Capital in it. The back circle has the presidential seal with an eagle in the center , banners with thirteen original colonies around the eagle,,thirteen stars around the eagles head,and a banner in the eagles mouth with "E.Pluribus Unum" on it. This thermometer was made during the time Calvin Coolidge was president. This is a great collectible,both for thermometer collectors and U.S. Gov. historical items collectors.
