* THOMAS JEFFERSON BUST ON PEDESTAL * BY ALVA STUDIOS 1957 **ANTIQUED BRONZE FINISH*Very rare vintage creation of head bust of Thomas Jefferson.An American Founding Father and U.S. President from 1801-1809Made of a composite clay mixture with a bronze paint finish.The base is also made of a white plaster like composite.Marked on the side 1957 Alva Studios on the right side edge of his jacket.It was made by Alva Museum Replicas, Inc , MADE IN USA as stated on the sticker on the bottom.Very good condition for it's age. There are a few minor chips as shown,the largest is on the back on the bow in his hair, but these can be painted over so they are not obvious.There is felt on the bottom to keep from scratching furniture. See all pictures.Measures 12 1/2" tall x 8" across and 4" deep. Weighs almost 6 poundsAsk any questions please
