Check out my other items ! Add me to your favorites list !) I've collected quite a few of these wonderful little antique Shaker apple core spools over time, so it's time to pass a few of them on. These make a great starter "instant collection." These display nicely in groups; in fact, I've got a set of nine that I display in a nice cupboard-type display box. Many of these were used as thread, string or chalk line holders, and some had an awl -- the spool on the middle has its original awl. (The others might have also had an awl at one time.) CONDITION: All are in good antique condition. The darker spool on the left has a slightly "grungy" feel, likely from use in a workshop, it could possibly be cleaned a bit, though I leave that to the discretion of the new owner.
