Old Tibet Nepal FINE BUDDHIST AMULET CONTAINER GAU OLD, AUTHENTIC AND USED VERY AESTHETIC DECORATED BUDDHIST GAU AMULET CONTAINER from Tibet or North Nepal. These Amulet Containers have been used by the Buddhist People of Tibet and Nepal as a personal amulet container. It protected the owner against negative influences and forces. Inside the containers t have been stored protective items, such as Clay Votive Items ( Tsatsas), Paper Amulets, Lama Coth Fragments, Prayer Flags or other related material. This WONDERFUL GAU AMULET CONTAINER consists of copper and white metal sheet, the front side is decorated with very aesthetic Buddhist Eight Auspicious Symbols and one large shell. Inside the Amulet Container a great painted Clay Tsatsa with Buddha Manifestation and red printed Amulet Cloth Fabric ! The Container is covered with decorated fabric with a cloth strap for carrying during pilgrimage. Condition: great condition, glossy polished surface patina, no damage, some signs of use.
