This Tibetan 1920's silver Dagger is from Thimpu , Bhutan . This dagger displays amazing workmanship throughout; the handle has a Phoenix on the top with a lotus flower below. The shield has engraved from top to bottom a Phoenix , Conch shell, Precious Umbrella, Victory Banner, Golden Fish, Wheel, and the long Dragon on the bottom. These are the auspicious symbols of Bhutan. The back of the shield has a floral design throughout. The Bhutanese Dagger is 14" long with a blade of 9.25". The blade is made of steel. This dagger is in excellent condition and a treasure from Bhutan .
