Tiffany & Co. Private Stock, hand painted Bigouden pattern cup and saucer. The cup is 4" in diameter and the saucer 5 3/4" . Although used, they are in near perfect condition with no chips, scratches or repairs. Both are fully marked with a handwritten message on the back of the Saucer stating, "Tiffany and Co. Private Stock - Hand painted - Made in France. The Bigouden pattern is derived from a Dutch pattern and are brilliantly decorated by hand in yellow, blue and orange. Private stock cups and saucers are rarely on the market and are usually costly. Tiffany & Co. owns the French Le Tallec Co. where it is not unusual to wait a year for their custom patterns.
