This is an extremely rare original Tiffany gold iridescent ribbed lily shade for a Tiffany Favrile Glass lamp. In excellent condition, no chips or cracks, even at the narrow end w normally they get chipped and scratched. Signed "L.C.T.", very sharp and clear, gold with green, blue, purple, red and pink accents. Measures 4 1/2" tall by 3" wide at the mouth, narrow end is 1" exterior diamter. This shade came from the collection of my late grandmother, Veronica Rita Forgett. Most of her collection was sold by Skinner Auctions in 1990, this was given to me by her during her lifetime. A 10-shade table lamp in this sale sold for over $30,000.00 in 1990, this appears to be a spare from this lamp.I am glad to give a letter of history and authenticity on this item if the buyer wishes.Own a great original Tiffany item with a well-known history. In one of the close-up photos of the neck, the "L" from the "L.C.T.", appears to be a scratch or crack of the neck, it is not a scratch or crack, it is the "L" in "L.C.T.". T are no cracks or damage of any type on this item.
