This is a natural form vase with blue/purple hues at the base graduating up through gold/amber glass to an irregularly flared mouth. It has the pitted and pock-marked surface which is characteristic of Tiffany's Cypriote and lava glass. The main body has 8 ribs converging at the bottom to a pontil. The vase is generally a free-form design and thus has slightly irregular dimensions in height, diameter etc. It has the Tiffany mark in small letters and numbers near the bottom between two ribs - reading: " L.C.T. X103". In my research on Tiffany's numbering system, more than one source indicated that the "X" prefix was used on experimental pieces and as such those were not offered for sale at the Tiffany studios. Maximum measurements are: height=7 in; diameter of mouth= 5 1/4 in. We ship to US addresses only.
