As a student of Tiffany Studios works since 1980 (yikes!), I have always wanted to see what the new companies were doing in comparison to the original pieces and consequently, I have amassed a huge collection of replica Tiffany pieces that I always just held on to for comparisons but now I am selling it all! As stated many times, we have bins up to the rafters in 2000 sq ft of warehouse space so we never know what will come out and when as most of the bins are not labeled so please follow our auctions as each piece is priced to sell. I know we have more tiles in various shapes, sizes and colors (original and replicas).Up for auction are blue iridescent replica Tiffany glass turtleback tiles. When light is transmitted through them, they are much lighter than shown without light. They are even different colors from barely iridescent to soft rum, just a wide assortment. To my trained eye, I know the coloration aren't true Tiffany colors but to the untrained eye, they would be just as enjoyable as a real ones. Light transmits nicely through them if you wanted to use them in a lit up cabinet or they would appear darker if installed in something.
