Late Reservation Era Carved Wooden Deer Effigy. This deer is about 1 3/4 inches long and 15/8 inches wide. The deer is missing one leg. I think this may be a child toy and it was in the estate of a Chickasaw Chief named Chief Irao that lived around the turn of the century and was popular and well known until the mid 20's. This piece is probably about a hundred plus years old. It has some coloring on the back of the deer and is a great little keeper. I guarantee this item to be as stated from the time period and location stated or money back. I am an AACA member and offer money back if you are not satisfied within a 15 day period. Shipping is 2.00 and will be placed in an envelope wrapped and secured. Nice Chickasaw piece of history. No reserver and low start price.
