This auction is for a tobacco leaf pattern dish (that's the name of the shape of the dish). This dish is handpainted with a beautiful bird and landscape scene and has gold highlights painted on, too. The colors on this dish are so vibrant -- these pictures do not do this beautiful dish justice! This type of dish is called a feiance. I don't know the exact time that this dish was made, but it is definitely an antique; it is at least 50 years old. It is about 9 1/2" long x 7 1/2" tall.
