The Tabernacle & The Menorah Lamp Shemot - Exodus - 25:23 - 26:8 You are bidding on a section of a very fine Hand Written Manuscript Torah Scroll Fragment on (gvil) Deer parchment from Yemen. This hand-written one of a kind Torah fragment is approximately 350 to 450 years old and has been beautifully preserved. Scrolls from Yemen are very distinctive in their beautiful Script, this one has a very distinctive and very rare Red color seldom seen(look at pictures). This is due to the deer parchment that is used and the process used in making the scroll. Scrolls of this type are no longer made and the process for making these distinctive scrolls has been lost over the centuries. This very soft leather Gvil parchment holds its ink very well and the letters remain very dark and easy to read despite centuries of use in the Synagogue. This is your rare opportunity of actually owning a genuine original, beautiful, Torah BibleFragment as a family heirloom and stunning display item for your home.
