This is a Child SizeTowle Silverplated Tea & Coffee Service We are not huge fans of cleaning silver. We have cleaned these pieces only well enough to determine if t is any significant damage that needs to be described to you.None of the pieces are marked Towle on the bottoms. They carry only a sticker that says "Silverplate, Made in China". However, they do fit perfectly into the Towle box, and we do believe these pieces were manufactured for Towle.The set includes an oval tray, Coffee Pot, Tea Pot, a Cream Pitcher, and a lidded Sugar Bowl.The oval tray measures 13 inches long and 8-1/2 inches at its widest part. Of all the pieces it is probably the one that looks most "used". T are scuff scratches on the floor of the tray, and what appears to be some oxidation also on the floor of the tray. It is still highly reflective as you can see in the photo above.The coffee pot stands 7-1/2 inches tall and is 8 inches wide handle to spout. The lid is "hinged" and that hinge is in good condition. The sides of the pot are very mirror-like in their finish, and t are no scuffs or scratches that we can see on the sides of the pot.The tea pot stands 5-1/2 inches tall and is 6-1/2 inches wide, handle to spout. The lid is "hinged" onto the pot, and that hinge is in good condition. While it is still somewhat tarnished, we can see no lasting damaged on this piece. The sides of the pot are not scratched, the finish is still very mirror like.We want you to see that the coffee pot does not truly match the rest of these piece. The scroll work on the spout is different from all the other pieces and the feet are also different.The sugar bowl with lid stands 3-1/2 inches tall and is 4-1/2 inches wide handle to handle. Again, this piece is in very good condition with a very nice mirror like finish. The cream pitcher stands 2-1/2 inches tall and is 3-1/2 inches wide handle to spout. We can see no serious concerns on this piece either.The set comes in its own box. The box is in fair condition with some rubs and scuffs on the front, and the letter "C" has been written on the top flap of the box. Actual Weight 3-1/2 pounds.
