~TRAIL OF THE PAINTED PONIES ~ *DANCES WITH HOOVES* ~~RETIRED 2E/4738~~ ARTIST: TY ANDERLE This Santa Fe folk artist is know for paintings and sculpture that blend Native American and aboriginal styles with a contemporary art sensibility. Ty has blanketed his Pony with intricate petroglyph and pictograph designs that seem to float on a rock-like background. "The initial impact is of a textural nature, but upon closer viewing, if one focuses on each design element as a vignette, as a picture all its own, t is much more for the viewer to explore." DESCRIPTION: This is a NIB "RETIRED" pony from the Winter 2004 3rd RELEASE Trail of the Painted Pony Collection entitled "DANCES WITH HOOVES". It is a second edition #4738 and was retired in July 2005 having only completed a little more than half of the second edition at 5505 pieces. It is becoming much more difficult to find this pony. This item includes original maroon box, styrofoam and maroon hangtag. Box does show some shelf wear and t is a slight crease on the left side. Item was only removed from box to verify number and condition and comes from a smoke free environment. I ship via USPS Priority Mail.
