Transformers : Car Robots C-027 BRAVE MAXIMUS Sonokong Korea = 2000 DESCRIPTION Transformers: Car Robots C-027 BRAVE MAXIMUS - This gigantic, highly-detailed action figure is of Autobot (Cybertron) Brave Maximus from the Car Robots toyline and TV series from Japan. Car Robots was later released in the USA as Robots in Disguise , but this toy was never released domestically. Brave Maximus is a redeco of Generation 1 or "G1" Fortress Maximus, so it is one of the largest Transformers toys ever released. Although this particular version of Brave Maximus was sold by Sonokong, a Korean toy distributor, it is NOT a knock-off and is an officially licensed toy from Takara of Japan. The box is showing a release date of 2000.Brave Maximus is a triple-changer in that he transforms into a Cybertron/Autobot city, an armed fortress, and a colossal robot. He is a double-Headmaster in that his head transforms into a medium-sized robot named Brave whose head also transforms into another small robot named Plasma. Also included are a red radar dish, a red gun for Brave, and a city playmat on the back of the instructions sheet. This redeco does not include all of the accessories that originally came with G1 Fortress Maximus. Note that the translucent green window to the right of Brave Maximus' head tends to lean open a bit, because its bottom hinge is not very snug, and there is no way to lock it into the closed position.NOTE WELL: This set was originally released in Korea according to Korean toy standards. As a result, it is only intended for collectors 16 and up in the USA, not for small children.This set comes in used but very good condition and is complete with all accessories and its instructions. It was only transformed a couple of times while out on display and was never "played" with. Either the toy's stickers were factory applied or I applied them neatly myself; I really cannot remember which. The box for this toy measures approximately 23.5 in by 16 in by 9 in It is in good condition overall, although it is showing some shelf wear on its corners which is unavoidable due to the heaviness of the box. The box was neatly cut open along the top. This item will be securely packed in styrofoam peanuts when shipped.These items come from my personal collection in a clean, smoke-free, pet-free home.
