Here is a great find. Before transformers there were diaclones. Diaclone was a toy line from Japan that was bought out by hasbro in 1984. Hasbro used these diaclone toys for the story line and product for transformers. Most of the diaclone toys were recasted in a different color but some figure were kept the same color. When hasbro took over this toy line a few of the left over parts from diaclones were used and packaged into the transformer toys. This Optimus prime is known as the light blue variant. It's very rare and hard to find in good condition. The standard optimus prime was casted in a dark blueish purple color. See pictures. This version I have came with the light blue parts that were used on the true diaclone convoy also know as optimus prime. This is highly desired by collectors and was only release in 1984 as a pre rub. We all know how hard it is to find a clean diaclone Optimus prime. Complete can run you 750+++. I figured how cool would it be to have diaclone labels made for this version of Optimus prime. I used my authentic diaclone convoy and had the stickers remastered. Took a lot of time but the product came out great. Includes the two sides of the trailer the front bumper and the rear trailer bumper. See pictures wow in looks amazing.
