For your consideration is an exceptionally pristine woven tent band from one of a few countries. Either it is from the Turkoman, Afghanistan, Pakistan region. Super long measuring 260.5" long (not including the tying fringe) and is 5" across. The weaving pattern/motif changes throughout the weaving. For fairly similar examples refer to one of these two books "living with decorative textiles" by Nicolas Barnard, or Living with Kilims by alistair Hull and Nicolas Barnard.
