This is a wonderful old automotive collectible. I have here a car mirror clock from the 1920s which could be a rear view mirror. I will list all the markings I find on this piece for accuracy in the listing. The mounting bracket is marked Trico with a couple patent dates from the 1920s with Patent Pending USA. The back of the casing that holds the watch has Standard Mirror Co. Buffalo, N.Y. Pat. Pend. The dial of the pocket watch has Standard Mirror. The movement is clean and marked, Ingersoll Watch Co. with several patent dates and the last is in the 1920s. The watch is running and keeping fairly good time. There is silvering loss to the glass but this should not be a problem fixing if one wanted. The mirror measures 2 1/2" high and 7" wide. It is 1/8" thick. In spite of the imperfections, this mirrored car clock mirror is in good shape for its age. It is offered as found with NO RESERVE. Buyer to pay 7.00 US mail shipping. Payment expected within 3 days of close of auction. Thanks!!
