A TRIO OF TRIMES***1851*1852*1853*Silver 3-CENT Pieces*3-SWEETIES*** Three sweet little three-cent silvers, first three years of issue from Philadelphia, designs and legends visible. Notice the difference in style of the number-punches for 1851 compared with the following two dates. The 1851 is the darkest in color and is dented -impact hit the center of the inside loop of C on reverse, and is therefore swelling out at the 10:00 point of star on obverse- but fortunately, the coin is only oh-so-slightly bent. The 1852 & 1853 are a much lighter silver and have no notable marks scratches for the grade. A nice little trio.
