TRIX TWIN TTR MODEL RAILWAY TRIX TWIN Meteor Diesel Express NB: not original paintwork - poorly repainted Made by Trix in Northampton in 1955 Heavy diecast model, for 3-rail 14 volts AC operation Includes essential 'Positive Direction Control' box Complete AC mechanism with operating motor The Meteor needs some attention as it has the usual problems due to old age: 1. The reversing relay is sluggish 2. The whistle has a shrunken plastic top Please see photos and description below 3-car train - Motor Unit, Centre Coach, Whistle Unit - and Direction Control Box Paint has been poorly done and will need stripping and repainting.All mechanisms are complete, the motor runs, lights operate.Control box looks poor due to rust.The important connectors between the three cars are in good condition.View of complete set.
