This item is a full size 1 Troy Ounce Ingot which contains 100 milligrams of .999 gold. However- because of the high proportion of other metal(s) to gold content, it is not solid gold . Having made such a full disclosure up front, I also have to disclose that I have seen this item sell for upwards of $300 on eBay in the last month (see item #110501521034). I am going to assume that t is some collector value to this bar because, while it is very beautiful and has a great mirror finish to it, the intrinsic value of the gold content alone does not merit such a price. Please understand that nobody on eBay, especially me, would sell a one troy ounce solid gold ingot for less than $50. Gold is selling for about $1100 per troy ounce right now. Part of the reason that I have this listed as a Buy It Now item is because I don't want anyone bidding the price way up because they think they are bidding on a solid gold ingot. As I am into the investment aspect of precious metals, not the hobbyist aspect, I am looking to move this item and convert it into cash.
