Forged and tempered well.[ Maru-Gata ] Its shape is round.[ Ko-Sukashi ] Ichino-ji-tsunagi lattice pattern and family crest are expressed in small openwork.[ Zogan ] The motifs are exressed in gold and brass inlay.[ Fukurin ] The side surface is covered with a Shakudo (alloy of copper and gold) plate.The tsuba is a little rusty, however, the color is very tasteful as it is forged very well.The motifs (Ichino-ji-tsunagi lattices & family crest) are expressed in small & delicate openworkand in gold and brass inlay.The side surface is covered with a Shakudo plate.Ichimono-ji-tsunagi is a decorative pattern used for muntins on sliding doors and transoms.This tsuba looks so tasteful !!
