Lovely large sized note, It is very interesting how the French can make colors combinations and designs in their banknotes gifting us with beautiful examples. A beautiful note that has been well preserved over the last seven decades. Embossing evident through the third party holder, creating paper waves throughout. Black serial number on the front of the note. Brown and multicolor. Ceres seated with Hermes at right. Back: Mercury. Watermark: Man's head.
