The Owl and the Pussycat - famous poem by Edward Lear.... Oh let us be married, too long we have tarried...... they were married next day by the Turkey who lives on the hill. They dined on mince and slices of quince This 'Turkey' who married the Owl & the Pussycat, was an addition to the 'Owl and Pussycat' set designed by artist Frances Wilson for Hantel miniatures. Made of pewter it measures 1 1/2" x 3/4" and is beautifully hand painted in Scotland with great detail. It is new, in perfect condition comes in it's Hantel box with tag. The last photo shows the Turkey and the Piggywig with the Owl & Pussycat Set but they are listed separately and not included. This auction is only for the 'Turkey'.
