This auction is for a very rare Tudor Metal Products Game from 1939 called Turtle Hunt in the Jungle. This game was made prior to the electric sports games that most people are familiar with, i.e. Tudor Electric Football, Baseball, etc. The metal board is made to vibrate using wooden sticks with rubber heads to beat on the board making it vibrate. The vibration is meant to drive the 6 turtles into indentations on the playing surface to score points. The box has seen better days with an 8" section missing from one of the side panels and a 3" section missing from the tray. The metal gameboard (18 1/2" X 12 1/2") is in excellent condition as are the 6 turtles. The instructions are present. Sadly one stick is missing and the rubber heads have hardened with age. You won't see this game offered very often if at all. So now is the time to own a piece of American gaming history. Please check my feedback for refernces. Thank you for looking.
