U.S. Army Late 1800's Officer's Garrison Visor Cap "Original" ~ DESCRIPTION | DETAILS ~ Thank you for looking at our auction. Up for sale is this Garrison cap, similar to a Kepi of the Civil War era, but this one being a mid-to-late Indian Wars era Officer or Infantryman's cap. Standard federal service chin strap buttons, blue / black cotton body. Visor has a small bend, but not a break. Chin strap is a thick gold bullion cord. Typical wear on the hat, but in great condition. Size is marked 7-3/8. Manufactured by the Henderson Ames Co. Image of Indian Wars Officer above has had the hat added for emphasis.
