* Up for sale is an extremely rare western seltzer bottle from Mendocino County, California. It is also in excellent condition. It has a nice etched picture of a beer barrel in the center. Around it in a circle it advertises, "UKIAH BREWING & ICE CO. / UKIAH, CAL." On the base it is lightly etched "Registered Trade-Mark" Austrian crown logo and "Made in Austria". This bottle is hand blown and would date from around 1910 to about 1914. This siphon measures 12" tall and is in the larger size, typical of the west. The top is easily removable, and the old glass tube (not shown) will also be included. The metal spritzer top is marked, "Meyer Schulman". This town was once known for its hops and beer in the old days.
