One-of-a-Kind Denny Dent Airbrush Painting Denny Dent I had the pleasure, and honor, of engaging Denny nearly 20 times in the late 80's and 90's for corporate performances. I loved working with him, particularly when we collaborated on new performance ideas. As passionate and inspiring as a person can be, he was a man on a mission and his energy flowed through him and on to the canvas in a way that you had to see to believe. As a producer, I would split my attention between Denny's performance and the audience's faces. Audiences ranged from a few hundred to a few thousand. The experiential and emotional ride of the audience was almost as interesting to watch as Denny's performance. Every performance, without fail, ended with a standing ovation. I've never seen anyone, so consistently, energize an audience like Denny could. Sadly, Denny passed away in 2004. To learn more about Denny Dent, please visit his website ---> dennydent dot com The Story Behind the Painting During preparation for a show in Atlanta in 1993 for KnowledgeWare, Denny said he'd like to use an airbrush for one of the performance paintings (Katherine Hepburn). While he used an airbrush in his studio, this would be the first time he used it in a live performance.
