I had the great opportunity to purchase a huge lot of 400 unsearched pounds of wheat pennies from an old Texas farm estate sale (that’s 80,000 pennies or 1,600 rolls) as well as 5500 nice indian heads(some with Full and Partial Liberty showing on headband.) I have bought many rolls on eBay from other sellers who promise a lot of Indians and steels, and I never seem to find any: That is why when I rolled these I put indian heads on the ends . I also made sure every roll contained at least one 1943 steel coin to make sure everyone gets at least {1} Most of the steel are fine to extra fine to unc. the rest of the assortment were completely a random draw counted and rolled out of a big trash can. ( So you are guaranteed to get at least 2 indians&1 steel for starters!! You will also find indian head within the roll because I added the remaining indian heads to the total mix.(at least 35 of these were Flying eagles) My son & I then counted out 47 (plus 1 steel) pennies at random Including surprise Indians& mercury dimes, then rolled them with 2 indians heads up at the end. ( When I unbagged the pennies I also notice a few Mercury dimes (some of these were used as end coins but the rest were kept in the overall mix. They are not going to be in every roll they are random just like all the other coins but are listed if they are end coins with dates just like the Indians that are much more prevelant. Not a single coin was removed or searched,(The only tampering was to add the "43" to every to make sure everyone gets one... it was a beating just to roll them all. *****These are very good Coin Rolls , However they are not "magic." This is a bit like the lottery-(without losers because at least you get the coins described) not everyone will get 55 double die or a 22-no D or a 1090 vdb or even a Merc dime. They have been found (dimes more frequently) but I am not posting the feedback of all the great coins found like some, because it's misleading. (I encourage you to read deep into the good feedback I've gotten)-but again I can't promise you will do as well. No one can -if their coins are "truley unsearched" **If you get that impression from their selling description of getting something incredible it is not truthful. If you are looking to buy from a honest seller who is truthful to you.. this is for you. If you want to beleive some other sellers grand claims please buy from them. (and get what you get) I try to be "real" because I want happy buyers!! (I WANT YOUR BUSINESS BUT I WILL NOT SACRIFICE HONESTY OR MY INTREGITY TO INTICE YOU TO BUY FROM ME, I AM DOING THIS TO SELL & MAKE A FAIR RETURN ON A GREAT PURCHASE I WAS LUCKY ENOUGHT TO FIND.(period) Once I finished the painstaking task of rolling these pennies I opened some rolls just to get an idea just what little gems were contained within each roll. I was very impressed, there was a great mix of teens, 20's and 30's,Steels(1943) and of course more common 40's & 50's and S & D Mint marks and some key dates among them ( and of course Indian Heads ) **Please understand** that just like with any rolls you buy on eBay, there’s a good chance some of the rolls will have a lot of 40’s and 50’s. These are of course the most common coins and have very high production rates.. I do however think my rolls have a better mix of earlier dates and Pre 1940's then any other sellers.
