I know the picture is lame, but read on. I constantly buy wheat rolls and junk silver at auctions, estate sales and neighborhood garage sales. As you could guess, it's hit and miss with what you get. I always do a quality control check on the lot to see if they are even worth listing on eBay. If I buy 30 rolls for example, I will open 5 rolls to see the general scope of what's in the lot. I am normally looking for civil war tokens, tons of early teens, and other coins to determine if the whole lot is a home run or not. If they don't have those specific types of coins, I open the rest of the rolls and dump them in a bucket. If it's trash, like cull, lots of 40-50 dates, or otherwise worthless pennies, they go into another bucket for bulk sale. The current bucket of goodies that I have for sale this time is full of "S" mint pennies only. That's all I've been buying recently, so that's all that's in the bucket. I have rolled a few hundred up, put a dime on each end, and am now listing them on eBay. These are not your average rolls however, because, again, THEY ARE ALL "S" MINT pennies!!!! There is a decent amount from all decades mixed in for sure, though I don't know what exactly you will get in your roll.
