Very unusual old Stieff pewter candlestick for the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation and this is Design # CW-87 which I've not seen before. Well marked with the Foundation's C-4-W mark and "Stieff" and with the design number and guaranteed authentic. All the Colonial Williamsburg pieces are precise replicas of items from the Foundation's collection and all manufacturing work is closely supervised by Colonial Williamsburg to ensure historial accuracy. A vintage estate piece from a very good Dallas moving sale, but probably not extremely old; I would say only about 20 years old. MINT condition, as the pics show. Has the normal patina of fine surface scratches that we almost always see on old Pewter but NO deep disfiguring scratches, pings, dings, dents, missing parts, repairs, etc. Stands straight and true with no problems; not out of shape in any way. Has not been lacquered. Overall size is 3" tall and 5.5" wide. A very unique push-up mechanism (to expel the candle stub) distinguishes this stick; the push up is in the base of the stick and operates from the underside (see pics). Bid with confidence, authenticity and condition unconditionally guaranteed in writing and your money (less shipping) cheerfully refunded with *no questions asked* if you buy it and don't agree after you see it in person, but check out the pics and know that read more
