Purchased in a small collection, it measures 50 x 11 3/4 inches, with knife edge suspension and pinwheel escape wheel. It has a porcelain dial 11 inches in diameter, with a sweep seconds hand. This vintage piece is solid brass and is quite heavy, and had grid iron upper clock component, and the clock is the the bob of the whole clock that should swing back and forth. It needs the swinger knife edge stud to hang from, and post in the backboard of the case or in the wall, if you hang it free swinging on the wall. We do not have either to test it, but the escapement works and it even has a sweep seconds hand on the center post of the dial. It is an incredible clock, one that you probably have never seen before. It just needs a nice wall to hang from, and it really is an attention getter.
