US Army steel helmet. Standard helmet used in WW II, Korean War, Nam Wat, et al. Evidentally this helmet was painted yellow at one time. I have no idea why. It has been repainted in the correcctOD color. T are a few places aound the rim that the paint has been rubbed off showing the yellow, also on the body of the helmet t are a couple of places the yelolw shows through The helmot is in very good condition.
