1950 VATICAN JUBILEE ST. PETER RELIQUARY STATUE issued under POPE PUIS XII Wonderful religious collectible. Saint Peter reliquary statue issued for the 1950 Vatican jubilee by The Venerable Pope Pius XII ( Latin : Pius PP. XII ; Italian : Pio XII ), born Eugenio Maria Giuseppe Giovanni Pacelli (2 March 1876 - 9 October 1958), reigned as the 260th Pope , head of the Catholic Church and sovereign of Vatican City State, from 2 March 1939 until his death in 1958. Religious reliquary statue depicting a seated St. Peter similar to the bronze statue of Saint Peter, attributed to Arnolfo di Cambio with the exception of hand positions and crown. This reliquary statuette issued to commemorate the ceremonial festivities uniformly maintained every twenty five years (with minor exception) years from 1450 until the twentieth century. ST.
