This fabulous, signed Vendome cocktail ring, circa 1963-1965, features madeira orange topaz set in a japanned black setting and crystal clear rhinestones, set on a dome in shiny gold tone. The clear rhinestones form tendrils or flames that lick up the sides of this impressive three-dimensional ring.It was featured in two different full page advertisements in 1963 and 1965 in Harper's Bazaar and Vogue Magazines! See last two photos.The head of this 3D ring measures 7/8" of an inch across and rises up 1/2" an inch from the finger.The band is adjustable from ring sizes 5-8 US, and the slide band is square-shaped, ensuring the ring to stay in a level position on the top of your finger. This classic ring is stamped Pat. 2,961,855 (for the square ring band) on the inside of the ring band and "Vendome" under the domed setting. It is in excellent condition.
