This is A very old rag rug that belonged to my girlfriends Grandmother. My friend is no longer living so I cannot ask her the exact age but it would be from late 1800's to early 1900's. I want to point out all of the flaws so that nobody is disappointed. #1 It needs cleaning! #2 It has a small speck of white paint on each side which I have shown in one of the photo's. #3 It smells a bit musty from storage. I had it in my rental and the people used it for a year or so and they had a dog that liked laying on it so it is bound to come with a few dog hairs. I have vacuumed but I still saw some hairs. Then they stored it in a closet w it got it's musty smell. No mildew but just a musty smell and that is one reason I want buyers to know that it will need a cleaning. It is oval and 80" x 62". It is quite heavy and will be 22 pounds when boxed to ship. I am only charging for whatever the shipping will be to your area. Because of it being made of rags t are some spots of loose rag ends which are shown in photo. I think it is a GREAT old rug but just don't want someone saying that is was dirty or had a few dog hairs on it. On one picture I hauled it to the steps to have it in the sun to get a better look at the colors. Thanks for looking. I had a question from E-Bayer and missed getting the answer to the listing.
