Description This auction is for this very pretty and ornately-carved bone or ivory handled seal. The collar compliments the handle, being simply carved with the lower section being more ornate. I believe the metal is silver, as it has the right feel and look about it, but I cannot be sure. The matrix is slightly rectangular in shape and of bloodstone; well speckled and beautifully carved depicting a boars' head with mouth open and tongue protruding. T is a slight amount of play in the joint between the handle and collar. I am offering this seal with NO RESERVE to encourage bidding.
