Lot of 3. 1.) “F.W. MCNESS ASTRINGENT POWDER” MINT, full contents of 8 oz for man or beast. Veterinary uses include superficial cuts and wounds, simple burns, chafing, shoulder and saddle galls. 1908 date on can, and from Free Port, Illinois . Colors and graphics of this tin are beautiful. 2.) “F.W. MCNESS HEALING POWDER AND COLLAR EASE” 8 oz and full contents. VG+++. Minor rust on bottom of can does not effect writing . For cuts, wounds, burns, chaffing, barb wire cuts, grease heal, galls, sore necks, sore shoulders, proud flesh, chaps abrasions, itching, and bleeding sores, old running sores. 1920 collectible. 3.) “COLUMBIA HEALING POWDER”VG+++, 4 oz full contents, for man or beast, for saddle and collar galls. 25 cents, from the Strutevant Co. Hartford , Conn. Minor paint loss, pull off lid with sprinkle top. Another very old tin for the veterinary collector.
