VICTORIAN BLUE OPALESCENT ART GLASS OIL LAMP ANTIQUE NR DOT and MITRE pattern with ORNATE BRASS WALL BRACKET No damage to the glass , excellent as manufactured condition with no flaws for this opalescent transparent blue glass oil lamp with dot and mitre pattern. T is a brass wall bracket original to the lamp, the custom made glass stub screw fits the fixture, and t is a White Flame, Grand Rapids, Michigan burner which has a hinged top, and is old, and probably the original burner when the lamp was first manufactured and sold, but can not be absolutely guaranteed to be original. Thumbwheel turns, and wick advances. Difficult to photo the curved glass, and t are reflections and light glare in the photos. A very pretty lamp, we have not clean or polished the brass.The brass has a few little brownish areas that look like light rust, but the metal does not attract a magnet. The little flower shaped pieces that screw on individually appear to be solid brass and do not attract a magnet. bracket is in over-all excellent condition, with no breaks, repairs, or corrosion, however t are a few inconspicuous marks of age. T are some traces of paint w it was attached to the wall, and one very small dent, mentioned for accuracy, and shown in a photo below. T is a threaded area that may or may not have had additional little brass flower motifs read more
