I purchased the Jug at auction many years ago when I started collecting jugs, it has been displayed in a glass cabinet since. I have moved and am starting to sell the collection due to lack of space. There is one small chip to the lip which was there when I purchased it. Not noticeable when displayed, infact I had never noticed before, but am closely inspecting items before selling. The copper lustre design on the blue is missing in places but the glaze is still there so I assume this was done at time of manufacture.
