A plethora of wonderful forms, patterns and colors are represented, with an emphasis on baskets, vases and jars - many in satin glass, with cased items, color gradated pieces, ruffled edge and others, all lovingly hand-crafted. Some rarities are included, to be sure, and all are nicely preserved, each proudly displayed for many years by an utterly devoted, knowledgeable and accomplished collector. We are so pleased to offer this particular item from the assemblage, a beautiful, eye-catching piece of superb quality and craftsmanship. Beautiful color, beautiful form - this basket is a circa 1900 gem, featuring wonderful cranberry color shaded to light pink, with silver flecked spangle decoration, a twist-style clear glass applied handle, a ground bottom and hints of fine opalescence in the white exterior. It's in very fine condition with no glass loss or damage - just one modest manufacture-related open bubble within, which we've pictured. It measures 7" tall X 7 3/4" at its widest.
