Beautiful Royal Worcester Cup, Saucer and Plate with date letter R for 1880, each painted with different bird study by the artist John Hopewell. Not signed at this period but plainly in his distinctive style.All in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs to any of the pieces. There is an area of wear to the gilding on the outside line of the saucer (as illustrated) and there is fine crazing to all three pieces. Very little wear to any of the painting. Plate approx 6 inches of 15 cms diameter. Height of cup approx 3 inches or 7.5 cms.
