Their stable of aircraft included the B-29, B-50D, B-45, the B-36H and then on into the Jet Age, a couple of B-52s, B-47s as well as several different jet fighter types, including a number of Navy types, that were flown by what the the Air Force called the best pilots in the world. The 4925th dropped "live" weapons in tests at the Nevada Test Site as well as many of the tests in the Pacific all throughout the 1950s which was the 4925th's "heyday" so-to-speak.This USAF blue Class A uniform ensemble is from the estate of a former member of the 4925th who also flew B-24s in WWII.
